How do I turn my Excel file into an app?
Upload the .xlsx, .xls or .csv file. Dosyon reads the sheet structure, infers field types and relationships, and proposes a working app with table, form and Kanban views. You review the mapping, correct anything wrong, then publish. Your original file is never modified.
Do I need to learn a no-code builder first?
No. Dosyon does not start from a blank canvas. It starts from the file you already built and proposes the structure, so you see a working result before configuring anything.
When does a spreadsheet stop being enough?
The moment a second person needs to act on it. Copies get made, the copies drift, and deciding which one is current becomes the job. Add to that no permissions and no change history.
Is there anything to install?
No. Dosyon runs in the browser — no installation, no server, no licence file. On a phone you can add it to the home screen and use it like an app.
Can I control who sees which records?
Yes. Access is set per role, and people can be limited to only the records assigned to them. Field-level visibility can also be restricted.
Can people outside my team submit information?
Yes. Send a secure form link to a customer or supplier without adding them to your workspace. Submissions enter a review queue and are written to the record only once you approve them.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The screens are built for mobile use so field staff can update records on site. No separate app download.
Is my data safe?
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and protected by your access rules. Every change is recorded with the user and timestamp. See our privacy notice for details.
